The show is currently in the early stages of production, with no streaming service or writer attached yet. However, Erik Feig and Wyek Godfrey, who were both involved in the production of the film franchise, are the executive producers of the series. There is also a possibility that the author may become involved in the project. The TV adaptation will be titled the same as the book and will follow the successful film franchise starring Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart.
